Feather farm outside LA/Seaboard?
Hello folks, I been farming feathers with my degen perma sin but it seems too slow.
I got a 330hp rit, 600, 55, 130hp, and don't know if anything can farm them. I seen one on pvxwiki(Rt/Me) but it was rated "good" and it was more a tricky build(you have to cast certain skills if certain monsters are in the group). For those that farm tengu outside LA, can you tell me the recommended build to use? Thanks guys!

That one makes me wish I was a rit- I'm a warrior and the Tengus will NOT stop interrupting my VwK

i bet you can 600/smite/QZ them with the right set up.
or just put mantra of whatever that stops interuptions on your 330 rit

Perma sin with radiation field degen works okay. Hardmode.

That's what a degen perma is, he said he doesn't like to use it. Read the entire post first.
Tank, all I can say is use mantra of Resolve or keep doing perma, it's safest

I've been told that a rit will work there, as well as in Naphui HM. The viable non-SF options to deal with the mesmer interrupts are Obsidian Flesh and Resolve. I'm skeptical that Obs Flesh will farm faster than the sin.
If you want a rit with Resolve that can farm that area, and you're unhappy with what's out there in the community resources, you'll probably have to work out a build for yourself. I seriously doubt that you can construct anything more efficient than SF for that area, but I've been wrong before.

i use my 55 necro..SS+incedios parsite (FAIL SPELL). i put up PS and HB then i cover with vigors spirt so mez shatters vig. then make sure he attacks u. 1 casting they die. i can usually handle any boss to even necro and mez just use common sense to kill. also not able to take on more then 2 grps that has mez. 1large grp+mez=probably dead..hope it helps PM if u wanna c how.

perma sliver sin works but standard 600/smite team can plough thru caromi easily enough.
In theory you shud be able to use a 600 rit/smite team but alas i dont use that so i cant suggest a build.Just make sure if theres a mesmer in the group you put up Spellbreaker just as you aggro then wait for its regen.
Oh yes - i do in hm , forgot to say that

I 600/smite it, and as long as you're patient or lucky when it comes to fire imps, It's extremely easy.

Perma Sin with sliver and standard drops them rather quick (agro as much as possible speeds the kills) Also good on imps just creep close to them not too close or the will get you but just close enough so sliver works. (finally found a charcoal farm )

I have been farming them 600/smite forever, just a standard build with mantra, you can take out everything, even fire imps are no problem, just make the half loop on the map, avg 60 enemies every time (between 3-6 fire imps) 2-3 laps of this and completely full inventory, I've farmed a ton of golds, runes, insignias, elite tomes out of there as well just by default of feather farming. Simple and surprisingly lucrative farm.

If I'm ever getting low on feathers this is the build I use (HM of course);
OwZjgwf84QSf8I6MulID5i8QpiA
[Glyph of Swiftness][deadly paradox][shadow form][radiation field][glyph of lesser energy][ebon battle standard of honor][sliver armor]["by ural's hammer!"]
I leave from D'Alessio Seaboard as it's closer. I pull into 2 general mobs, one to the south west, and the second to the north east near the boss spawn.
Gather and stand between rangers and mesmers so radiation hits everyone.
I use a zealous scythe & target melee.
chain 5,6,7,8 then once enough energy is gained, 4 (should be about 15 seconds after 8, so the attack chains alternate each other)
Runs take about 9-11 minutes, kills about 45 or so. If I remember correctly; 300+ an hour of feathers. (Real goldmine for 600 gear runes and perma runes.)
Lately of course I've been using my rt in NM. Gets more feathers in same amount of time :-)
